deep trouble! (pic's)

had some fun today. had to dig down 2.4m for a standard two storey extension as the pipe visible was at 2.2m, so footings have to go deeper.

only trouble is, some numpty caught the salt glaze pipe with the digger (me) and resulted in the plastic 'graft' visible. it was a bit scary working down that deep and a little bit naughty.

sent me mate down though!

actually, the bloke in the hole is only 1'-6", and the trench is 3' deep.

If I may offer a suggestion !!! In America if you do work under ground and do not have proper shoring it is not only a hefty fine but jail time also.

I would delete the pictures so you don't get in severe trouble
