no nothing there at all, even put a little volt stick by all cables and nothing!!! when placed by plug socket starts beeping like crazy so i know its working!! pardon my ignorance put where should the supply for the stat come from??

nope deffo only one cable there...a 1.5 twin and earth live neutral and earth...but not even getting a reading with a multimeter between live and earth god i hate things sometimes :evil: wish i would've checked if i had a supply there in the 1st place, i'm stoopid ah well

room stat cover has been missing for a while!!! decided to change today as wires exposed.... there was one cable there, twin and earth 3 core, a live, neautral and an earth.... switched my spur off and changed like for like.... switched spur back on and heating fires up but goes off...

do'nt know multimeter only goes down to 110 so 12v wouldnt show am i right in thinking? will i need to buy an instument that can measure if 12v is coming out? and then i suppose i'll know if its the transformer or the fan thats faulty? have i just answered my own question? :roll...

the hob is it gas? if so that cable should go into a socket, its for your ignition. oven should go into a cooker oulet, depends on the wattage of the oven for what size hr flex

seen in a house today...a new board which the kitchen ring had been rewired to but spurred from the 32 A mcb was the electrics for the boiler...this went to a fused spur which had a 3 A fuse protecting it is that ok? just didnt seem right to me :?

copper pipes from taps 6 inches then into a valve and from there plastic piping to bond or not to bond? xxx
