Advice on Intergas HRE 28/24 not firing heating

when power is off, the number reads 1.8.

when I open the black handle valve, the preasure on the unit is reading 3.0 and rising.
found bleed key point... open several turns for a few seconds?

TURN OFF THE FILLING LOOP

The pressure should be between 1 and 2. Why take it higher?

Use the drain point next to the blue valve to let water out and get it down to 1.5.

sill unsure is blue handle is in correct position.

When the black valve is in line with pipe, (only one black valve) main display reads '3.1'

The bleed key, as with all bleed keys just needs turning until something comes out - if that something is water, turn it off.

It air comes out. Stop turning until water comes out and then turn it BACK.

Do not fully unwind...

Have you read the FAQ?

You're at risk of causing more harm than good.

the benchmark section is complete yes.

Rads are all on '6'. apart from the 3 evohome smart ones, which I cannot tell...

The boiler still cycles to '1'.

Blue valve is horizontal (points at me)

Then either the valves on the other end of the rads are turned off, or the pump is guffed.

The boiler should be staying on status 5 for a good while.

Also, not a good idea to just have some of the rads with Evo heads on.

You should have all except the bathroom under the evo control.

It couldn't still be the bdr-91 not feeding a 'on' signal to the boiler?

I will change the rad thermostats to the normal ones then and see if this changes anything, otherwise I will need an engineer then!

This did the same thing when I first fitted the thermostat, cycling through 5, 3 and 1.

This wouldn't be covered under warranty would it?

What do you think this might cost to repair?

If the benchmark is correctly filled out and the boiler has been registered with building control and Intergas then yes it will be covered although I would expect your installer to be sorting it.

If the above hasn't been done then you have a problem!

Ok, looks like Ive tried what I can.

Assuming changing the Evohome valves over doesn't change anything, I will try and contact the installer.

Thank you both very much for all your help,
Its hugely appreciated!
