Hi can someone help? Our baxi boiler is firing up yet the thermostat is not showing fan and temperature in house a whopping 27º! (Its on 19 for night and 21 for day, it fires up regardless) We've followed advice on here and changed battery and tried moving thermostat close to boiler but no luck. Any ideas?

More info about your system would be helpful.

Model of boiler and which model Towerstat will do for a start.

Sorry, it's a Baxi duo tec boiler
OK, so it's a combi boiler.

Do you have the installation/user instructions for the Towerstat?

Have you tried changing the RF address code, in case your neighbour is using the same stat/address.

Is the green light showing on the receiver when the heating is on at the "wrong time"?

Does the green light go on and off when you change the temperature on the control unit?

Hi there. Followed instructions and tried changing code. The rx red light flashes as it says in instructions but stays on red when we try a new code or even the default 100. It appears the heating now won't come on but hot water does. On the thermostat I can get the fan to come on changing the temp but its not making boiler fire up. Before the green light came on above the symbol for the heating even though the tx wasn't telling it to fire up.

Did you have the transmitter about 1m from the receiver?

Press button on side of receiver - both lights should flash
Set transmitter to F1 and select a code
Press the Frost (*) button
Lights should stop flashing.
Press Set Button

If that doesn't work, you probably have a faulty unit: Contact Tower -
