what does it do? apart from light up

The two lights you can see it the bottom of the fitting are HID, and there are tow PL lights in the top of the fitting to light the fancy ceiling.

The fitting is also an emergency light.

Oh and it is all dimmable with 0-10V control.

also where is the venue? looks a bit like the old ' gods kitchen' in brum

It's the studio theatre in the Grand theatre in Leeds.
