PULLING MY HAIR OUT -HELP

I have fully tiled my bathroom with no problems, however i left the inner sills till last as i knew this would be tricky. I have got my window trim that i cut at 45 degrees, however they are not joining up at the corners, i have tried shaping the corners so they fit, but it is becoming a nightmare, i have got throw about 6 window trims so far. I did call a tiler and asked if he would just do the sills for me, he said no, he does not take on half done jobs. any advice would be appreciated. thanks in advance

plastic or metal max?

are you using a small mitre box for trims?

Did you use a mitre block?
Window reveals are not always square so can be tricky sometimes,if they are plastic you can make adjustments using a craft knife or sandpaper.

Small gaps can be filled with grout (1-2mm)

As for the tiler I wouldn't worry,we are not all like that

Using the trims you've wasted, show us (with photos) how you have been doing it and we'll tell you were you're going wrong.

Yes i have been using a mitre box to cut out the angles, but when place in the window the angles do not meet i have sanded them down, but still no joy.

Looking at the pics you need to start again cutting the 45 deg in the mitre box as before then work on one corner at a time.Sand off a bit from each small amounts at a time,keep testing them,it will take a while but it's worth it to get a good finish.

It would appear to be as I suspected. Assuming the flat bit of the trim is on the inner reveal, then you need to make the 45° cut from the vertical, not the horizontal. If you don't understand this, give it some though and look at the other slot on the mitre box I suspect you haven't used. I stand to be corrected here, but I suspect you are cutting the trims from the wrong side.
