We have had a new rad fitted today and when we have turned the central heating on it is not heating any of the rads and there is also a few strange noises coming from the system especially the euramo pump which is buzzing quite loudly which has never happened before today

Any Ideas on what it could be and how to fix??

dont know about the strange noises - need a more descriptive statement.
no rads heating could mean a dead pump, is the pump warm/hot - becareful touching it, it may burn! faulty motorised valve, room stat, or programmer, assuming the boiler works for hot water.

Did you re-pressurize the system pressure? As you have put more capacity on the system. Check the pressure at the boiler (assumimg it is a combi you have fitted) Lack of info fella....

it is a combi boiler but it is old as the house which was built in 1900
how woul i check the pressures i aint got a clue

Cheers

Some accurate information would be useful - make/model of boiler for a start. How do you know it's a combi? Has it got a pressure gauge on it?

Hi Mick
The noises coming from the pump only happens when i turn the system on it is like a buzzing /vibrating noise, also the pump is to hot to touch

Cheers Dave
