End of the world!!

Hi Everyone
The ratchet selector of my Stanley Yankee 130A has dropped out and gone forever.
I have used this Spiral Ratchet Screwdriver for over 25 years and I am absolutely gutted!
I know power drivers now rule the world but there is nothing to compare with this screwdriver - in my opinion power drivers don't have the same feel and precision - it is (was) the best, most used tool of all that I have.
When I was coachbuilding we all used them - with a jubillee clip on to stop them rolling off.
Anyone know where I may find one (don't think they make them anymore).
Anyone know if parts can be got?
Anyone got one they want to sell / pass on?

All the modern Yankee's seem to have plakka handles - yuk! I agree with you that the old stuff is lovely to use, even when the maroon varnish wears off. I still occasionally use mine ... from a little stubby type through to the monster ... there's one plakka handled in the collection and it doesn't 'feel' right somehow.

Thanks for all the pointers - looks like ebay is best bet - as you can see I am onto them!
I'm sure I'll get one somewhere but as you know with any well loved tool it will be sadly missed.
When sharpened properly the countersink bit for this is the best ever. None of those triangular or hexagonal holes you get with the star c/sinks.
Razor sharp clean edge even on softwood.
When I was coachbuilding we used to line up all the screwheads slots and on Ramin mouldings - you would have no chance with a power driver.

quite easy realy you either stop a couple of turns short and use a normal driver

or if you dont have enough fine control you just rotate the body by hand to line up
