New bog needed for downstaires wc.

Most DIY stores now to toilets to go at very reasonable prices. Are they any good, and if so does one store do better ones than others?

I'd pay the VAT on the £49 and go to Grahams for one. The sheds such as B&Q and Wickes tends to use cheap Turkish and Chinese stuff. Dedicated plumbers merchants generally supply a more reputable brand.

Go to the merchants and get a twyfords. If you ask nicely they may allow you to take a look at the pans so you can see what you will be aiming at! Some toilets have extremely narrow necked bowls that require you to be perched to the nearest centimetre for any chance of a hole in one

I got a cloakroom set which was on offer from B&Q. Cost about £100 with the basin and fittings included. Came with everything. The only thing I spent money on was for a antivac trap. Everything else was of reasonable quality.

Was impressed with the Wickes 'toilet to go', not impressed with the Wickes 'basin to go'. Both installed last week.

Fitted a few B&Q/Homebase toilets 'to go' and found that the base of the cistern is not always level resulting inthe flush valve being out of line with the buttons.

im fitting one on sunday personally for £49 i think they are good valve specialy if its bought as a second toilet,cloakroom,kids wc etc

At one time Grahams were supposed to be sourcing own brand sanitaryware from China. If you buy a cheap toilet you get a cheap toilet no matter where you buy it from.
