Nah, it's only 10mm into the brick. Most of it is in plaster / render.

It's not modern paper thin wall either

Sterling work RF as always shown by your pics , your neatness is a level that i aspire too !! now butt kissing aside..

i am wondering how you filled the cert ? im assuming that you didn't do all the switch drops on the same circuit.

Since this topic has been reactivated anyway...

Are there any de-burring tools worth having for cleaning up the ends of conduit after cutting, or is it down to a few strokes from a file?

You might find one listed as a conduit reamer - it is just a large tapered reamer.

They are likely to be expensive - if it is just for occasional use a large round or half round file is OK.

How about using a pair of pliers closed up, insert into the pipe and turn to remove the burr?

RF - your gold star is in the post .... go to the top of the class

Thanks, but I think I'll try pliers and/or files...

Presumably cutting tools which don't leave burrs in the first place will be equally unrealistic if I haven't got many cuts to make.
£24 isn't expensive unless you are only doing a couple of pipes and looking at it would think it would work equally as well on copper
