My wife tells me she heard a "drilling" sound from the airing cupboard yesterday. I can only imagine it was the CH pump. Would anyone agree?

I have been thinking of replacing the pump as we have very hot rads upstairs and warm rads downstairs.

If I am to replace the pump which make should i go for? There seems quite a large price range.

Thanks

Replacing the pump may not cure that problem as it might just be a case of balancing the system properly!

15/60: 15 means that the pump has 15 mm suction and discharge ports and 60 means that the maximum head is 60 decimetres, i.e 6 metres. The head is the flow resistance of the system.
