Double InsultatedBathroom Light fitting

Hi

Can anyone help. I am trying to put up a new bathroom light fitting which I thought would be relatively simple. The problem is that I have an earth wire in the ceiling. As the unit is double insultated I understand that the earth wire shouldn't be attached to the fitting. So my question is what should I do with the earth wire from the ceiling. Do I just poke it back in the ceiling? Can any one help with this silly problem. Many thanks.

Is there enough room in the fitting away from any heat source to terminate it in a piece of terminal block and poke it out of the way?

Not forgetting to put a piece of green/yellow sleeving over it first.

No really. I would be to tight and nothing to attach it to. Any other ideas?

Thanks I will just poke it back through the ceiling.

But do as suggested. Terminate the conductor in a terminal block, after sleeving it with G/Y sleeving.
