Chimney Hood (Designair) changing to recirculation.

Hi Guys, I am about to buy a Designair Hood ( either GCH60SS or FGHD62SS). The description state that they need to be vented (ducted). Is it possible to convert them to recirculation?

These are cheap pieces of kit and i cannot find any website for the makers. i think they are sold in B&Q.


If i was forced to vent, can i vent from the side of the rather than the top or back.

a recirculating hood is almost entirely useless (except perhaps as an ornament).

why have you decided on this?

i wnt to recirculate mainly because of the hassle o running the ducting and boring a hole in the wall and also whether i can hide the ducting.
