Hi there, hope someone could help me out here !

In the process of installing a new bathroom suite, the problem i have is the toilet cistern is at least 4 inch away from the wall. the soil pipe is running under the floor to an internal pipe which is 4 inch from the wall i cant move it back for 2 reasons. 1 a joist directly at the back also a gas pipe any advice please

Box the wall out 4", only needs be size of toilet. Somewhere to put your smellies and toilet dolly

 unfortunetly u can't do ia lot about that. u could go to the supplier and get a goose neck muiltiwick wc pan connector, but that would only throw u back an inch or so. the only way out would be to build a frame and put out a small stud wall to fill the gap and make a small self to finsh it , or idealy get a pupose built frame that conceals everything and u hang the toliet from this. it looks well but is costly. i presume u have already purchased ur suite from ur supplier?? or what about rearranging the layout? take that soil pipe on back to the wall its heading for and alter the pipes for the basin and bath. thing is you can take a 50 mm check or notch out of the joists to accommadate small bore waste and water pipes but u certainly can't take anything else or u will weaken the joists.

Cheers for that :) At this stage re-arranging the layout would be too costly as I wanna keep the costs down to a minimum
