Not just the valve, the valve and the screw in housing it sits in.

Any ideas where I can get a replacement? Or am I buying a new radiator?

Or, go down the scrapyard and get one for nowt ;)

Find the right size threaded bolt and put a bit of ptfe tape on it before screwing it in (don't screw too far in...)

FFS . Just go to any merchants and ask for a half inch air release plug and bit of ptfe.
Or if its a recent rad ask if they have bleed and plug pack spare , but not necessary

Are we just talking about a standard 1/2 inch BSP vent plug? Jesus you guys are lazy...go and buy one from plumbers merchant.

No better still, rip out all rads and pipework, fit new CH system, boiler, then powerflush just in case any dust got in there during installation. Then call BG to condemn it and rip it out again and fit some kind of economy 7 storage heater system instead. Get fed up with large bills and move to North Africa, but remembering to bring a jumper cos there's no heating there in winter...

Have a go at axel but your comment of phone stelrad was just as much a joke for a BASIC repair

That depends how you look at it.
They sent me their entire collection of bleeding screws, plugs and what have you, current and old ones, when I called them about some odd bleeding problem. 'bout half a dozen of each, free of charge, arrived in the mail the next morning.

And one of them actually fitted.

Whoppee do you saved yourself around 6 quid on a basic part that most have laying in there van
