Petrol Strimmer

Hi

Can anyone help I am looking to buy a petrol strimmer which is value for money and easy to use in the past I purchased a cheap one from ebay this only came with a 3 month warranty, I use to have problems with it starting after 8/12 pulls it would start and I would end up with an aching arm not to mention being annoyed with it so I got rid of it, now I am not sure what to buy I would appreciate some guidance

8/12 pulls is good foe a strimmer

a still strimmer are the best but they will cost a FS80 with cow horn handels

stihl every time. i used a chepie one from china the other week whilst visiting my father in law. absolute tinny crap.

a decent stihl does not take 8-12 pulls to start

Get something proper. Starts with no pulls at all, and never runs out of fuel.

nope, ive just come to thinking what very good pieces of kit they are, based on using them in my business. They take a regular pounding, do the job well every time, very easy to maintain, good support from dealers and the company. spend your money wisely once.

But could you use them very early on a weekend morning without annoying the neighbours?

It's all very well having these power tools when you use them frequently, but when they are owned by homeowners who use them comparatively little, don't know the servicing requirements, and don't have enough use to justify the cost,it's useful to have an effective alternative.
