Was pulling out supplies from a weekends racing this morning to find this little gem..

It would appear that someone couldn't find a polish socket outlet.

Unfortunatley, the IP rating of the Tesco bag had been compromised on our inspection :(

We unplugged the lead and left it there as there were many contractors around and someone would pick it up.
2 minutes later it was plugged back in.

So unplugging it again and on the phone to facilities to alert them of the situation, and reminding them of Electricity at work regs, for their concern.

Then a polish chap came out shouting at us.

'why unplug.......... why unplug'

It's not safe mate

'why it no safe'

Exposure of live conductors, electricity at work blah blah blah..

He then dissapered with it, to reappear 10 mins later having cut-off his own polish plugtop and putting the 16A plug direct onto the two core cable.

We thought.. 'well it's an improvment' and got on with our busy morning.

appropriatley enough, the guy worked for an events company with 'shock' in their name.

Should have told him to put a bit of G/Y sleeving on the bare earth THEN wrap it round the pin and he would have been alright!
