hi guys, new to this but been reading a lot today to find a solution, no joy so here goes, had a late shower last night, heating and water all ok, woke to a cold house this morning, nothing worked, on taking a look the water pressure was below 1, so on searching found it needed to be higher, did that and lights and all came back on, but when i run the water and heating it stayed cold, and a red light indicated something with the temperature, the model is whitestar 29t, year 2005,its a landlord house and he aint answering his phone and i have a young child who is freezing, i have seen many replies to others about resetting, but cannot find a reset button, have switched off at mains and on again, still nothing, sorry to be so long but wanted to cover as much as possible, all help greatly appreciated :P

on the front of your boiler there is a small grey round cover, take this off and the manual reset button is underneath, hope this helps

hi, many thanks for replying, being a bit blonde here, lol, but i still dont see the grey cover, i have taken off the white front cover, have even taken off the large steel cover and looked everywhere, can you enlighten a little, is it noticeable, the cover i'm looking for , i'm probably looking at it lol, no little grey cover on the control panel either, cheers

hiya picasso, been to that page, my control panel isnt the same as that, i'm actually finding it hard to find anything with my boiler, my panel has 2 buttons on the left top corner, one for water and one for dayllight saving, two dials underneath, one for water temp and the other for heating temp, then the clock at the right hand side, nothing else, no reset button, thats why i've been baffled, so i tried resetting by switching off at mains, waiting then on again, still nothing, oh and in between the 2 buttons is 2 lights, the top one is to indicate power and the bottom one for temperature, its this one that keeps going red after a few seconds, all sites and info says its a temperature cut off and to rectify i need to reset the boiler, heeellllpppppp

hello again picasso, no its not, wish it were, it would make life easier, lol, it says on the info on the outer case the year of manufacure was 2005, although our landlord said he only got it a year ago, it got fixed a few months back as the water was going hot and cold, new part needed, all was well with it until now, i have been searching all day, and cant find much about it, all it says is thats its a combi boiler, whitestar, ws 29t, year 2005, looks like its gonna be a cold one the night, lol

sorry picasso, i should have said that yes that is my boiler, but no its not the control panel that i have, sorry
