Will someone tell me what is the size of a T&P tapping in an unvented cylinder? Is it 1" FBSP?

Whats T&P tapping and 1" FBSP stand for.

Make and model of the cylinder would help.

Perhaps I should remind you unvented cylinders are not DIY jobs.

It is not going to be used pressurised. IF you do not know what FBSP is you should not be lecturing on DIY work.

Whats that all about?? :?

Could it be Female British Standard Pipe?
Together with Tapered and Parallel?

Got it. Now does anyone know the size of the tapping in the cylinder that takes the T&P valve? I want to remove the valve and use the tapping. I have been offered an approx 150-200 litre cylinder and have not seen it yet.

It's illegal to modify an un-vented cylinder unless you get Wras approval.

i better not post on here again cause i didnt immediately realise it was female BSP, always quote BSP then male or female, oh well shoot me now

If its a 1" size, it will be 11 tpi at .9091 pitch, requiring a tapping size drill of 30.75mm.
Wow that takes me back to mechie institute days! :)

what make of cylinder might be a start
You shouldn't be lecturing here either, you wouldn't have known what fbsp was if boilerman hadn't told you.

You don't have a chance fooling morrismini, she is far too clever for you. :D
