Hi - I wonder if someone could please advise me. I had a man here today relaying an area of my parquet flooring and then sanding it. I had lots of blocks from my old kitchen area so he used them. At the end of the day he said they had not stuck as the cold concrete floor was soo cold they just were not fixing. Then he said he could not come back tomorrow as he was away until 1st dec!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I am in two minds to try to finish the job myself as I have sofas being delivered etc etc next week. Can someone please tell me what I have to buy to finish this job - he hasnt sanded around all the edges of the room - or filled in any gaps - but i do have the sawdust.
many thanks

Hi Batbi
If it is an old or original parquet floor, then the adhesive might have reacted causing non adhesion. if you do get them to stick then the sawdust is mixed with lycol or similar and trowel spread into the gaps. A lot of sanding then needed before final finishing.
