Is it permissable to feed a lighting circuit from a ring mains via a fused spur?
If so what must be put in place to allow this etc
what labels would need to be in place?
I would agree but the floor is blockboards and its only to feed 2 lights in a new extensionIt is imo a poor setup to have lighting circuits spured from a ring circuit. It is OK for say a couple of fluorescents for say under unit lighting but I'd edge away for using it for a full circuit.
It is better to have them from the consumer unit so the installation is divided into circuits to avoid inconvenience.
