I'm installing this emergency light outside, above an emergency exit.

There is already a fused spur feeding the nearby security spot light via a Wiska box.
Can I connect one more feed to the emergency light from that Wiska box that already feeds the security light. I've heard that all emergency lights need to be fed via a lighting circuit.

I think the existing spur is fed from either a ring or a radial.

The outside emergency light would normally be fed from the internal emergency light above the exit door.

Yanni, are you still working on your tenanted property? As a landlord don't you think it's best not to try and do diy for the safety of your tenants?
