I have a 600x1400 P-Plus double panel single convector to put up on a wall which is made out of celcon block

What would be the best fixing to use for this?

If celcon's similar to thermolite block (another trade name?)then 7mm bit-not on hammer, brown plugs and 2 1/2- 3" x10s

3" No 10s or 12s and a line of Nonails on the brackets.

For the record on stud walls, use board fixings (pig tails) and Nonails on brackets. The wall comes down before these will fall off.

Remember my first boss fitting a rad onto stud wall with mastic because plaster board screws had pulled out. Ruff as the proverbial badger's...

Never really appealled to me that one

thermolite..............you can screw straight into it. As well as its lightweight and thermal properties, it was speced as the manufacturers stated it could be screwed straight into, thus reducing build costs.

It works too!!
