panasonic nn-e273s microwave problem

hey i got panasonic nn-e273s microwave , it was working great for months and now something happened and it doesnt heat the stuff inside it, instead the metal case get very very hot like a frying pan, anyone has any ideas on how to fix the problem , ill be glad

please be extremely careful with microwaves mate they are the most dangerous item you will ever encounter in a domestic or arguably a commercial property! capacitors may hold about 2500V (5000V if operational) if not discharged and this will carry a hefty current enough to kill to the point no resuscitation will help - all relative to earth if still plugged in too :eek:

Also I would suggest a tired magnetron could still show a normal resistance.. - only the heating coil has a resistance the rest is like a tuned aerial.

u scared me enough not to play with it :) i contacted some ppl who fix microwaves but the cost would exceed the value of it so i guess i =m just gonna buy a new one
