Price not a consideration must be reliable

Preferably an outdoor type

Its supplying hot water for a kitchen and one bathroom shower which is only used occasionally as rest of house is fed by Economy 7

Supplys 12 radiators

The Grant model we have has been awful so please not another Grant

As suggestions for an installer in the West Berkshire/Oxon area ??

If, as you state, price is no consideration over reliability then get a regular boiler and a cylinder.

The Grant is as good as any combi, new ones no longer use a diverter valve. The problems in your other post can and will happen with other makes if not constantly maintained by an oil & combi specialist.

Its always been maintained its never gone for more than 9 months without a breakdown or service then repair !!!

No room to put a cylinder hence the requirement for a combi

Look at your other post I have made some comments, My Company maintain about 800 Grant Combi's we have very little problem with them, of course all boilers occasionally break down, but we find grant has well above average reliabillity AND we don't see Sooty ones either!

Grant Vortex External 26, it is the best Grant combi yet, very efficient and reliable, new Control PCB is proving very reliable

Iv'e been a boiler engineer for 34 Years now Grant are one of the best Combi Boiler out there Honest!!

But you know best so good luck with that I know try a Warmflow!!! you'll just love the constant leaks! or what about a potterton statesman flowsure don't even go there  still i'm sure you know best and after all it's your cash

BUT whatever you do get a proper engineer to maintain it, from your other post it is the maintenance of your boiler that is in question rather than the boiler itself

All oil combi's need to be serviced regularly and properly, and installed in accordance with the M.I.'s.
When you think how hard they work, and for outdoor boilers, the inhospitable conditions they have to do it in, then Grant will stand up better than most.
