I am in the process of purchasing a new Oil Combi boiler.

Its a property with 10 rads, 2 bathrooms.

I had originally short listed 2 boilers

Worcester Greenstar Heatslave 18/26kw
or the
Grant Vortex 26

I'm not a plumber so been doing research on various forums and google to workout which one to get.

I had thought that Worcester made good boilers and thought this would be the prefered option but looking on this forum there seem to be lots of people suggesting Grant and slating the Worcester.

What are the pro's and cons of each?
I'm interested to hear why the worcester seem to get slated so much on here?

I have no preference just would like to get a decent reliable boiler.

Regards

OK, interesting, thanks for the info.

I've also ready lots of posts on this forum about issues with Grant boilers so assume they are not 100% perfect but from what I here from you guys Grant are much easier to service and repair.

Any more feedback from anyone or is that the general feeling around?

Regards
