I have a Worcester 24i RSF Combi Boiler operated using a Horstmann 425 Coronet. This timer control panel allows me 2 on/off per day, all day, 24hrs or off solutions. But no weekend setting
At the moment I have it on twice a day, but what i'd really like is a timer/control panel that allows twice per day (or more) but at weekends a different set of times (5/2 day settings)
I'd also like the heating to kick in at any time if the temperature of the house falls below a set temp...say 14c. During the day...its bloody cold.
I've read its better to heat the house constantly at a lower temperature during really cold weather than to have it going too cold and then heating from there.
Is it as easy as just changing the control panel???? I've seen some that suit my needs in screwfix for about £40
