Which shop is.......?

Cheap power tools from B&Q (performance* power** range). Though my dad abuses his power tools to an extent, all the ones he's bought have lasted for a maximum of 2 jobs before something went drastically wrong with them.

* this word does not accurately describe this range of tools, unless preceeded with the word "poor"
** nor does this one, unless preceeded with the word "low"

We got a Black and Decker 18 volt drill from an insurance payout a few years ago, after the shed was broken into (the old one was only a cheapy, and had a seized chuck, they took it anyway, tossers***) and its still going strong, despite my dad's heavy handedness.

***they also stole a bike with 1 pedal, a dremel with a seized chuck, and a socket set with half the bits missing    I dont think our shed will be burgled any time soon

That's not what you said on the Insurance Claim Form! They were described as brand new!

Anything from B&Q that involves more that a few bits in a box. Always stuff missing. Although this seems much more common in the big one in Enfield(narf London) than in the smaller local branches.

Au contraire! We didnt tell any lies. They asked us what was taken.

1 no. powered multi-tool
1 no. cordless drill
1 no. socket set
1 no. mountain bike

They asked for no more info, and shipped items meeting the above descriptions to us within a week.

Besides, where would the insurance co have found a 1-pedal bike?
