Hello everyone, my hot water is working fine, but when i turn on my central heating, it fires up fine but then the pressure release valve comes in to play, and i get a gargling sound as though the water is heating up but not being moved around, could it be the pump i was wondering, tried to turn the black nob on the pump but it didn' t feel as though the motor was running, any advice would be greatly appreciated. PS i have found a water pump that is brand new and identicle to the one in the boiler for £50 inc delivery is this a good deal and what should i expect to pay someone to fit it for me.

Hi There,

There is a hissing sound on the boiler when i turn on the central heating at the top of the boiler, and a knocking sound.
i am worried now what do you mean death can be fatal.

Sounds like the pump could be at fault. Does it have power to it?

Yes there is power to the pump, but doesn't seem to be working.
