how would i make flexable render

timber house uk , all the inside is plastered no cracks apart from one wall i though would be fine without scrim (stupidity) outside kingspan or something the a galv mesh then flexible render, well hopefully any way,

add sbr

add pva

add admix

had a price for poly renders etc over 2.5k 100meters, don't really want to spend that

any advice thanks alot ben

If you don't want to go for a poly render, then sbr in the render. This will give you a 'more flexible' render rather than a 'flexible 'render

Remember though that you can use a fibreglass mesh instead of metal, which would give you a bit of money to spend on the poly. Also no need to paint th ecoloured render

what sort of quantity sbr in the mix, i did a swimming pool with sov chem k11 which is a tanking product looks like a bag of plaster then you add 50-50 water and sbr, it was for my dad and he wasn't bothered but the finish wasn't exactly good, it was kind of like plastering or rendering with plasterboard adhesive that didn't go off till the next day

basicly impossible to work with

however i think this is the way to go cheers lads
