I have a fault on a Baxi 105e which is driving me crazy; when either the hot water or heating is selected the fault code 60 light starts flashing.(Fault on pump or Low system pressure) The only way i can get the boiler to fire up is turn the on / off rest selector switch; back and for between central heating mode to hot water mode

i have changed the diaphragm on the diverter manifold as it was split
Has nany body got any ideas?

Have you tryed bleeding the pump. Also if you put a screwdriver on the pump body and your ear to the handle you should be able to hear pump running.

As you have changed the diaphragm, it is full of air.As already stated, bleed the pump. Also make sure that the auto air vent on top of the pump is open.

Hi gaz

I have bleed the pump via the screw on the automatic air vent and the system several times but to no avail.
the system is pressurised to 1.5 bar. However it does fluctuate quite a bit.

I will probably have to change the pressure relief valve, to stop this happening however the fault still happens when the system is at 1.5 bar.

I have just tried what you suggested with the pump and the pump is running?

Hi graham

The reason i changed the diaghram was to try and rectify the fault; the fault was apparent prior to me renewing the diaghram.

However i will re bleed the system at the moment anything is worth a try

If your pressure is fluctuating dramatically replacing the prv will do no good. More likely the expansion vessel needs recharching or replacing.

Is your system clean? Sludge may slow the pump. Does the pin on the micro switch at the back left of the hydaulic block make? Check this. Does the pump start immediatly it makes?

If not the switch or pump are faulty if your sure the system has been bled
