i need help? i have an MOUNTED GAS METER BOX its the one that screws on the outside wall, and the gas pipe travels about 3m along the outside wall then it entries the the building.

where do i earthbound? at the gas meter or at the entry point inside the building?

--my gas engineer toled me i need to earthbound at the meter?

--the electrician is telling me not at the meter but inside the building at the entry point

please help thanks lee

You could do it at the meter if you wanted to. Normall spec is, within 600mm of the outlet and before the first tee. If it's at the point of entry into the building it has to be visible and accessible.
I've seen it done behind a removable skirting board, all tidy like. But not acceptable because it isn't visible to someone who doesn't know where it is...
