My kettle has blow the mains fuse and whrn this happened my bioler showed up with a red fault light, I have reset the bioler but now it will not come on at all, I have changed the fuse in the spur with no luck, I have also tested the fuse in another item and the original fuse is not blown, How can I tesat the bioler for faulty wire, or is ther a small fuse inside the bioler, at the moment I have been laid of and can't afford an engineer.

If anyone can offer advice, especially if it is an easy fault to repair, that would be great. thankyou to all who can help

Check on the CH forum, but you'll probably find that DIY boiler servicing is discouraged.

I would not normally touch a boiler, but if it is an easy fault to diagnose, or simply a fuse inside the bioler, I would change a fuse, If the problem is more complex, then I will have to wait for a service, but I would look foolish if it is a fuse, easy to repair, and have to hope that the engineer (which I cant' afford at the moment) does not charge me an arm and a leg.

is the pilot light lit? (little gas flame in a window on the boiler)

I would recommend that you re post your problem with make, model and fault in the central heating part of the forum, they will sort this out for you.

or listen to a dilutie wire twister with a pathetic signature
