Hi there,
Our neighbours flue for their condensing boiler terminates near our garden, there is always a enormous plume even if it ain't so cold...anyway what seems to happen is when the boiler fires up there is a definite smell of gas for a few minutes which then goes away.
I've seen the boiler before and all I know about it is that it's made by Vaillant, around 11-12 years old and it's got a red LED display with green buttons. It was apparently very expensive when it was installed 11-12 years back but they got a grant.
So, should I be telling them to get the boiler checked ASAP?
