Leap-A was the first I know of, in early 2006, there have been more since. There are also macro viruses which are essentially cross-platform, and wide open security holes in third party software.
Do some research and stop spouting Jobs' propoganda. Macs have many advantages and just as many disadvantages, not least of which is the price, and they most certainly are not the virus-proof supercomputers some people make them out to be.

I'm always amazed at how defensive Mac owners get about their precious platform. It's like a cult, a really vain cult that has no understanding of function over aesthetics. Don't misunderstand me, I'm well aware not every Mac user is like the above.
Obviously there are far fewer viruses that target Macs compared to Windows but that's not to say the platform is completely secure and that you can completely forget about viruses.

As far as I know mac users are just as susceptible to phishing attempts etc as windows users, probably more so if you're anything to go by believing what you do, and if you follow the link above to Macintosch Security you'd find out just how insecure your mac is. Not to mention apple are slower than any other OS manufacturer to patch their security flaws often not even admitting they are there.

Phising isn't about Viruses which is the point the OP raised. As I said 'Buy a Mac and forget about it' and that remains the case. Those who argue against that do so because they cannot afford good gear.
I have made a lot of money in the Computing game both PC and Mac and for the benefit of those without an expert opinion and limited expertise trust me: You wont get any Malware on a Mac but you will on a PC.

Money has nothing to do with it. I buy far better hardware than what goes into Macs. The simple fact is you're wrong. Viruses, worms, and trojans do exist for Macs. They are not as common as for Windows, that doesn't mean they don't exist.

Never used it, never will, never had a PC die on me, it's all CPU chewing rubbish!
Phishing is as much about viruses as viruses are moron seeing as some phishing attempts require the user to install something like a virus to gain the info they want.
