A neighbour has just had a boiler replaced and some new pipework has been required. I am sure that the installer has fullfilled all of the gas regulations, but could he not have made a better job from an aesthetic viewpoint? Surely it would be reasonable to expect the pipe to be painted where it runs by the brickwork so it is not quite so jarring? Also can anyone explain as to why such a big spread of cement is required where the pipe exits the wall? As for not clearing up the brickdust...huh.
OK rant over, but should he be brought back to deal with this?
