I'm off to to bring the Northern Part of a well known (divided) island in the Mediterranean next week to condense a normally 4 day course into three days. Every word is going to be translated as I speak too :D

The Southern Part of the Island are currently working to the 16th, where as the the Northern part are on the 14th >.<

Wish me luck.

But probably not into Greek...

That makes sense, given the date of the issue of the 15th.

Wish me luck.
Work Permit?

Visa?

I assume so. It's for the UN :D
The entire presentation is to be translated into Turkish. My delivery will also be translated (into Turkish) as it is given. It's going to be a very interesting time :D

I've been given a room in a very nice hotel to unwind on an evening 8)

The version makes sense now then as it was invaded in 1974 wasn't it? Anyway.. they want a standardised island which originally meant I was to teach the 16th but I dug my heels in :D

why did you dig your heals in ?

do you want them to suffer in darkness when their lights will no longer work ?

All my resources are for 2008 and I am not going to spend weeks changing them for a 3 day course. Why would all their lights not work? :D Ohms law has been around for more than 100 years I think?

I note in Turkey they have leads with two plugs coiled on top of stand by generators ready for power failures.

And very few deaths.

So the Turkish people must be better trained than British to avoid electric shocks using this type of system!
