Never fitted an intergas, but judging by the good things I read on here they have only 4 moving parts so are they reasonably silent in operation?

The reason I ask is I normally install Vaillant Ecotecs, Viessmann 100's & Glowworm Ultracom2's and in my opinion they are just not quiet enough even when installed on chemically cleansed brand new systems. I think it's just the squeezing of manufacturing costs causing this.

Are my fellow installers finding the same these days?

yea, are these any good, normally if something sounds too good to be true it normally is.

The Intergas has been around since around 1994 in Holland. It is used in social housing estates because of its reliability. The landlords find it is cheaper overall to run because of the reliability.

better than the Remeha George?

Just going to say the same myself. I fit quite a few Remehas, and sometimes you hardly know they are running.

Parents have a Turbomax. Much noisier than the old Sine it replaced.

Its a Remeha for the quiet life!

I didn't ask him for that reason mate - this clown has been on here with about ten different names and in his last incarnation he was telling everyone that the 39c was the best boiler on the market.

I have installed a 39c and IMO its far from the best, wouldn't install another Remeha again. It was very quiet, it was off more that it was on

Yes, as many here testify. Those I have been involved with have never had a call back of any description. They only go up to 13 litre per minute. Maybe there is a larger version in Holland. Or put two together - see the two combi thread. These make sense to do that to zone the CH and get a higher DHW flow rate.

George, can you name even ONE person who you have actually met from this forum?

Just installed one in my own house, and yes they are very good.

I certainly preferred it to any in you list. 8)

Are they quiet enough to you? I have never lived with one, but they appear quite enough. But living with the thing is what matters.

Which clown are you on about? I know many clowns on here now. They are increasing as the days go on.

The Avantaplus range is great value for money and very quite as this thread states.

You do not say why you do not like the Remeha. Is it the Avantaplus you are on about?
Because it broke down many times and had crap backup. How many Intergas boilers have you installed? or your other personalities for that matter?

Sounds like you're talking about a woman George.

Any boiler should be quiet enough for you I presume it's bedlam there in the nuthouse when the lights go out.

Be fair most of the comments about Tony on Screwfux were made by you Walter
