No, they're still working on that.So the government are talking of cutting the feed in tarrif by 50%.
Does anyone know if this effects existing installations?
There's now been some backtracking....
Unfortunately, due to a technical error this document was made live.
“This is a work in progress document which is no longer on our web site and cannot be relied upon as the Government consultation has yet to be announced. Then and only then will we know the precise contents. We cannot confirm anything within our fact sheet until then.”
a) ProbablyIs that code for 'Oh s**t we just leaked the info not yet announced' ?![]()
On that I also hope so.This will put a lot of people out of work.
If they are making money out of PV, then yes, absolutely, and without a yoctosecond's hesitation and without a shred of remorse. So you hope hundreds of roofers, scaffolders, electricians and pv stockists go out of business?
The government isn't paying any subsidies.all the government have to do reduce the subsidy
Not fast enough.lets first go for the equation with only 4% inflation
43p-4%=4128-39.6-38-36.53-35-33.65-32.31-31-29.77-28.58-27.44-26.31-25.2-24.2-23.3-22.3
so at 4% inflation the return halves in around 15 years
Still not fast enough.so half way through the term you have the equivalent off 20p and around half the actual generation
The government isn't paying any subsidies. I am, you are, and so is the little old lady across the road who already has to choose between heating and eating.
Oh I see.where else is the money going to come from to fund R&D for future power generation? Government?
