Devastating news, he has on TV yesterday with Gary Mac.
Great footballer and budding young manager and one of the good guys, a real role model.

Whilst I cant clarify this, I have just heard that he hung himself. Very sad and my thoughts are with the family.

Must have been in a terrible mental state. But the strange thing is there's the likes of Dan Walker (from Football Focus), on twitter saying he was with him all day yesterday and he never noticed anything unusual about him, he was just himself. Robbie Savage is saying he was on the phone to him and they were laughing and joking. So it's shocked even his closest friends!

Of the best midfielders I have ever seen I remember seeing gary in Liverpool when he signed for everton I asked him was he Gary speed he laughed an said no, must of been cause I had my LFC kit on! What a really nice man tragic
