In hi def surround sound
I don't watch much TV but one of the benefits of living in a detached house is I can have my Surround Sound turned up. When the 5.1 kicks in with objects flying in from behind you etc it's brilliant.

My lad is currently working his way through Harry Potter (BluRay). I'm gonna start watching Pirates of the Caribbean. BluRay really is fantastic.

I know the stars of the first two but who is in bluray. :P

I found "on stranger tides" quite disappointing!
Maybe it was due to the lack of the Knightley factor?
Could very well be. I can't decide if I like her or not. She's got the strangest smile sometimes, certainly not flattering. On balance though, if she gives me a call I'll take the lass out. Not promising any romance mind... need to check out that smile a bit closer. 8)

BluRay really is fantastic.

My DVD went pop at Xmas so along with a sound bar for my LG I got a Blu Ray and i`m most impressed.
If you can, get yourself Surround Sound Alarm. It really is excellent and that's coming from a bloke that watches very little TV. As to HD/BluRay, just in case anyone is reading and isn't aware, a HD/BluRay player isn't much cop if you haven't got a HD telly to support such input. Also, you must run the connection via HDMI in order to take advantage of the loveliness that is HD.

Yeah yeah, HD HDMI leads and decent ones too. ( HD Sat as well)
Just didnt fancy speakers everywhere, the sound bar is pretty good though.
And not going down the wireless speaker route either.
