"My dog wouldn't hurt a fly....."

Very few ever will as they don't understand Dog Psychology and never will.
You avin a larf? When was the last time you saw a shrink having a chat with a spaniel?

Dogs understand food and being fed. Give a dog a bowl of pedigree chum and a scratch behind the ears and he soon becomes anybodies friend. Soon you'll be telling us there are anger management classes for terriers.

Dog psychology ffs.

i was once told by a vet that the worst injury he has seen on someone was carried out by a terrier, ripped the guys ankles to shreds.

but any dog which ever breed it is can turn, mostly if its been ill treated.

my children have been bought up surrounded by dogs,so they now exactly how to treat them, with respect.they know never ever to approach a dog to stroke it without asking the owner 1st.i have kids come up to me when i have my dog trying to stroke her,i allways say please dont touch her,

but no matter what i think anyone would be a fool to trust there dog 100%.

People who put an animal, that is capable of ripping a small childs face off in a public place, are acting irresponsibly.

If they must, then muzzle the feckers.

As for dog mess.

Why would the vet see the injuries of the victim?

Owner got savaged by the mutt and was putting it to sleep?

So he turned up with ****** ankles pouring blood and told the vet to put his dog down? unlikely but anything can happen I suppose.

Could have happened that way, I meant after being treated :D

So the owner pulls off his bandages and proves how hard his dog is before its despatched? Maybe he showed him some scarring a few years afterwards and decided it was finally time to put it down after some contemplation. :)

hey i was told, didnt say id seen it.
maybe the vet was called and done a home visit to dispatch and was told by a family member?

so your vet obviously didn't see that woman who had to have a face transplant because of her dog attacking her then?

I'm a dog lover and I love my GSD to bits, I know that she would never hurt anyone......BUT! when I'm walking her if there is anyone about, then she will be on a lead and walk to heel.... I know that she is friendly but other people don't and can be intimidated by a breed of dog that has a reputation as being fierce . It is not fair for me to inflict my dog onto other people especially if they are not dog people. Seeing any large breed dog run towards you can be quite unnerving even if all she wants is a scratch behind the ears..
