Hi all,
Last year, my old shower (an 8.5kW unit that had been installed years ago, before I bought my house) started cycling from scalding to freezing. For various reasons, I put off replacing it until recently, when my step-father (a qualified plumber, no longer in the trade) fitted my brand new Triton Seville 10kW unit.
My problem is that it is also cycling hot to cold, regardless of the temperature setting on the unit. The troubleshoot in the manual says this is due to lack of water getting into the system, but the water pressure is fine.
I haven't had the wiring replaced for 10mm cable as I didn't know I was supposed to until after the unit was installed. But even if this could cause cycling of the new unit, why would the old unit have the same problem?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks
