I was planning to install a security CCTV camera on the roof for a property that a friend of a friend has overseas. The only issue is that they are not sure where they exactly they want it yet. One view is from the roof looking down over the entrance and front yard, the other would be on the side of the house looking over entrance gate.
So, is there a way to secure these temporarily without breaking any tiles (terracotta) in the process? They need to be secured from heavy winds and heavy rain so I'm not sure how I could go about this.
The camera has a bracket which can be mounted at any angle with 4 screws.
Could I somehow secure a thick wood block to a surface without drilling and then secure the CCTV on that?

If its on the roof tiles how is it going to look down?
Surely it will only be able to see the area about 30' in front of the property?

stick the bracket (or a wood block) to the tile with silicone?

Should last long enough as a temporary.

For a permanent, maybe epoxy resin.

Bracket sticks up about 10cm so it has a bit more room to move and it can tilt.

Bathroom silicone - will that actually stick enough?

Sticks like poo to a blanket.

My Bathroom sink is stuck to the wall with only Silicone sealant (not my doing) and I can put my full weight on it without movement. (it will be fun when I want to remove it).

If you use it put something like a long thin bag of sand surrounding it while it cures to keep it in position.
