Us Atv to uk

Give them the impression it's a fire hazard when in fact I doubt that's the case and they have obviously built the box to be able to use in the uk where the voltage is suitable for 100/240v sames as mobile phone chargers work here and abroad

You doubt that's the case based on what, exactly?

Some of us here have opened, seen fail, and designed for ourselves SMPS units. One of us most certainly has not. Please listen to those of us familiar with the technology, and go buy an appropriate replacement PSU.

Yes you keep getting confused he said he opened the media centre. And found it not to be safe

I'm not talking about the adaptor

I'm not getting confused at all. But again, one of us is. He never said he opened the media centre.

He didn't say he opened the adaptor ethier but never mind that part of the topic has been solved

The entire topic has been solved. Go buy a replacement adapter, and a decent one, not the £4 one you saw on ebay.

Well this is the case what are you calling a decent adaptor

First you said buy a new psU

Now you going back on your word and saying buy a adaptor for the us plug

I had tried finding a decent adaptor but you said it cheap but so far you haven't recommended any adaptors
