Why are some plumbers such a let down ?

I will say no, I don't give off bad vibes, live in a dirty smelly house and our cats are house trained. Lastly, I am not female.

I think I will consult my Collins DIY and fit the rad myself if possible.

The flip side of the OP post

I agreed yesterday to attend a property at the end of the day to have a look at a leak under kitchen sink. Its a couple of roads away from a two day boiler change Im doing.
Two bells in situ ona 70's built end of terrace. I ring the top bell.

No reply.

I then ring the second bell and wait.

No reply again

I press both and wait

Again, nothing.

Went home rang them and they said ' well WE didnt hear it ring'

I then went on to describe their front garden and at that point they said sorry as it was obvious I had been there

Idiots

Fix your f in bell !!!!!!!!!!!! or put a notice outside saying ' please knock- bell(s) not working

Dod they not resd the note you put through the door?

what a great thread , we have went from a poor op moaning about a no show to posters moaning about having too much work on to smelly houses to having cats cant wait for the next thrilling installment

If I dont hear something ring inside then I knock hard within 10 secs, if no one comes within another 30 secs then I telephone them!

If not too busy and its sunny I sit on the wall and wait about 15-20 minutes.

One lady finally came home and apologised and said she had popped out to the shops without her phone!
