Just wondering if anyone knows if Visonic have released a shock sensor for Powermaster g2 range.

Not the same thing.

I've got a wooden wall that needs protection, no window.

Which do I use, a shock sensor or a glass break sensor?

Well I have the GB-501 PG2 glass break detector and although it is tuned to the frequencies normally associated with breaking glass I can tell you it does sense other impacts such as me dropping objects on a wooden table near the sensor and the LED even flickers when I release my tablets from their packaging!

It seems to respond to shorter, sharper dynamic sounds so I wouldn't recommend it for wooden walls...maybe this is what you need when it is released;

Take a look at the last item SD-303 PG2

I wouldn't hold my breath though...I have been waiting for the IP Module & Tower-20AM PG2 outside sensor since the PowerMaster range was released and the latest news I have is April/May 2013
