Moving a meter and cut out

You need to go to your DNO website (Scottish Power) and apply there. No one else can do this work.

If you need the consumer unit(s) moved as well you need to employ an electrician
 
And even if it seems a pull back "easy" job they will hit you with £1k

God help you if the main need extending :shock:

And even if the job takes an hour they will charge you the quote.
 
You will need to get the DNO in to move the supply cable, and you'll need your meter operator to move the meter.

I would be surprised if it's less than a thousand quid.

You see, we know how much a typical move (even an apparently simple one) costs. It's a lot.

Plus, you will be responsible for any ground works, and it will have to be done to their exacting spec.

Please, please let us know what they quote you.

Mind you, there may be a jock down the pub who is handy with a pair of pliers :wink:
