Hi all ,
I need to vent my Bosch tumble dryer so I would need a core drill of 112mm in diameter.
I have a core drill , i just need the diamond core drill bit.
any idea the cheapest place I can get one for hire ,
I was tempted to buy myself but I'm sure I wont need it more than once :(

If you are just going through plaster - breeze block, then I would mark a circle oversize and then chain drill, and knock the centre out, finish off by cementing a tube of the right diameter into the hole.

I find my local hire shops prefer to hire the drill too (HSS, Lord).....if you want to buy, consider UK Drills, Manchester.
I drill 117mm for flexible extraction ducting.
John :)

An ordinary SDS drill will not do the job, they are just not man enough, and if yours has not got a clutch you will likely end up with a broken wrist. Hire the complete kit or stitch drill and break out.

Just for interest, did you hire the core drill and SDS? How much did it cost? I am starting a tool hire place you see, hence me being nosey!
