Central Heating Drain off

Hi am am looking to fit a drain off into spare boss in the stack can anyone tell me how to get form the 15mm Copper pipe to the 1'1/4 boss?

How often do you plan on draining your heating system ?

Well i will probably flush it through once a year. However the main reason is its a 3 floor flat and will be easier than running a hose down the stairs and i have the chance to do it now as i am doing lots of other work in the flat.

why on earth do you want to flush the heating on an annual basis

No need to if done properly first time and add inhibitor after.

why not if its easy to do?

Because every time you refill it you will add a fresh load of water to add another layer of limesfale, and dissolved air that will set up another round of corrosion, and will have to pay for another supply of chemicals.

The question remains, why do you want to?
